Sainte-Croix Beach
Sainte-Croix beach is crossed by the Martégal coastal path. Protected by the surrounding cliffs, the beach has the merit of being shaded and protected from the wind. Its landscape is idyllic: fine sand, crystal clear water, discreet waves, surrounding pine forest and historic chapel overlooking the beach. You will be totally charmed by the intimate side of this 100m by 40m beach. A first aid station is open from mid-June to September.

La Saulce Beach
La Saulce beach is almost joined to Sainte-Croix beach, separated by a simple cliff. Its proximity to campsites makes it a major asset for holidaymakers staying in La Couronne, Martigues. With fine sand, its water at room temperature is crystal clear. La Saulce beach is taken by storm from the first days of the sun for picnics and lazy afternoons. The pine forest in the background allows it to be shaded.
Plage de Couronne-Vieille
Near the La Couronne lighthouse, Couronne-Vieille beach remains wild and intimate. Located in a small cove, half sand, half pebbles, enjoy the calm facing the sea. Out of season, the Couronne-Vieille beach is also popular with windsurfing and surfing enthusiasts.
Verdon Beach, La Couronne
La Couronne beach is the largest fine sand beach on the Côte Bleue. Ideal for families with children, it is supervised in the summer season. The beach is equipped with toilets, showers and volleyball nets. It offers rentals of pedal boats, paddle boats and private deckchairs. Bars, snacks and restaurants are available for lunch and dinner.
Carro Beach
Located in the village of Carro, the small beach of Carro is appreciated for its proximity to the fishing port. Tanning on the sand, swimming in the turquoise water, picnicking on the rocks... The surrounding greenery gives it a very special charm. In summer, the beach is supervised to ensure the safety of swimmers.

Bonnieu Beach
In Bonnieu cove, the sandy beach is crossed by the coastal path. The view offered on the EDF thermal power plant contrasts with the surrounding greenery. It is not uncommon to see hikers pass by (or to see them take a dip!). The surrounding trees give an intimate aspect to Bonnieu beach, which also attracts many naturists.
Bonnieu naturist beach: A little further, the 300-meter beach is exclusively reserved for holders of the French Federation of Naturism license (in summer). The naturist beach of Bonnieu is known to be one of the best naturist beaches in the country of Martigues. Unlike Bonnieu beach, this one is entirely made of pebbles.

Laurons Beach
Laurons beach is a sand and small gravel beach. It is the closest to the EDF thermal power station. It is no less pleasant. Children have a playground and an omnisports ground, showers and toilets have been fitted out and parking is free. Laurons beach retains the charm of an isolated beach, especially at the end of the day at sunset.
Ferrières beach downtown
Ferrières beach allows you to swim in the salt waters of the Etang de Berre. The sandy beach offers a space for relaxation with its public garden in the background. In summer, the straw huts in the city center allow you to savor fresh and seasonal products, pancakes, ice creams and other desserts for afternoon tea.
