Verdon beach is a beautiful beach of 300m, made of sand and therefore very popular with the inhabitants of Martigues.
Protected by a large cove which shelters it from the wind, it has all the necessary facilities for coming with the family.

There's a supervised beach, sanitary facilities, bars and restaurants nearby.
The little extra at Plage du Verdon is the pedalos, which allow you to admire the scenery from the sea.
Swimming aids for the disabled:
- The tiralo is not a boat but an aid to swimming
used with a companion. It allows you to swim without leaving your wheelchair.
- The Hippocampe: a multi-activity, all-terrain, floating wheelchair. It allows the user to move from the sand to the sea, enter the water and leave the wheelchair while swimming.
The equipment is available from 4/07 to 31/8/2023, every day (including public holidays), de 10.30 a 18.30 h.
Registration recommended at least 24 hours in advance by calling 04 86 64 19 91, on the following days and at the following times: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 5.30pm.
Guide dogs accepted.

- In June: 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11. Then from 17th to 30th from 11am to 7pm.
- From 1st July to 3rd September from 10am to 7pm.
Showers and WCs open:
- June to August: 9am - 7.45pm.
- In September: 11am - 7.45pm.
Showers are not accessible during drought restrictions.
