The sandy beach located at the edge of the pond of Berre and in the city centre of Martigues, is certified "bathing waters", recognition of the actions taken by the municipality for the management of a bathing site. The beach has showers and toilets.
The beach is equipped with showers and toilets.
From May to September, it is cleaned daily.
Safety: the beach is marked out and swimming is supervised:
- In June: 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11. Then from 17 to 30 from 11 am to 7 pm.
- From 1 July to 3 September from 10 am to 7 pm.
Musical animations are regularly programmed around the 3 huts :
- C'Pêché.
- Tchikita cabana.
The green areas have been redesigned, the redone asphalt and children's playground are available.The place participates at the dynamization of the city centre and the process of inscription of the pond of Berre to the world heritage of UNESCO.
Showers are not accessible during drought restrictions.
