From the Quai de la Roquette in Trinquetaille
From the Quai de la Roquette; in October 1888, Vincent Van-Gogh observed the metal bridge which straddled the river and allowed people and goods to travel between the two sides of Arles.
He also took in the comings-and-going, the passageway and the staircase by which men and women reached the walkway.
