Presentation

Since 1900, in the heart of Salon-de-Provence, Marius Fabre soap factory has perpetuated the artisanal production of Marseille soap and black soap with olive oil.Complete your visit by discovering our Marseille soap museum.
The Marius Fabre soap factory has preserved the most precious witnesses: engraved boxwood stamps, tools, the first soap molding machines, stencils for shipping boxes, old packaging, headed paper, washing boards... Reflecting a very old activity still alive.

Come and discover the authentic atmosphere of our soap factory and its workshops during a guided tour. A moment of exchange and discovery, young and old will discover a unique know-how still alive, transmitted from generation to generation in our family.

Visits to the Marius Fabre soap factory are free and can be booked on our website www.marius-fabre.com under the heading "visit the soap factory".

Until June 30th they are proposed:
- For individuals :
Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 am and 11 am; Wednesday and Saturday at 2:30 pm and 3 pm
- For groups: on demand and on reservation tourisme@marius-fabre.fr

From July 1st and until August 31st :
- For individuals: Monday to Saturday at 9:45 am, 10:15 am, 10:45 am, 11:15 am, 2:15 pm, 2:45 pm, 3:15 pm, 3:45 pm, 4:15 pm, 4:45 pm, 5:15 pm and 5:45 pm
- For groups: visits suspended during the summer, resumed in September on request and by reservation tourisme@marius-fabre.fr

Exceptional opening on July 14th and August 15th.

The Marseille Soap Museum will reopen its doors on July 1st!

The soap factory shop
From April 1st to September 30th: Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 6pm
From October 1st to March 31st: Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 7pm

Guided tours during school holidays (all zones), by reservation: Monday to Saturday at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm.
