Presentation

The new cathedral "La Major" was built by Léon Vaudoyer between 1852 and 1893 in a romano-byzantine style.
Its exotic style and sumptuous interior decoration are reminiscent of Orient churches. It is the largest cathedral built since the Middle Ages. It is located on the site of the baptistery of the Gauls " les Gaules" and adjoins the former cathedral " La Major", which was cut down by two spans in the mid-19th century. Worthseing : the statues of Botinelly, this "Carli", the altars of "Cantini" and the tomb of " Saint Eugène de Mazenod". Parish priest : Alain Ottonello.ouverture

Opening times of the cathedral : every day from 10am to 7pm in summer and from 10am to 6pm in winter. Closed on tuesday.

Masses are celebrated at "Saint-Laurent" church and at "Les Accoules" church :
At "Saint-Laurent" church : Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 pm, sunday and feast day at 10:30 am.
At "Les Accoules" church : on saturday and the day before the feast day at 6 pm.
