Cap Croisette
Presentation
Located in the South of Marseille, this corner of paradise for divers, bathers and walkers is also very appreciated by the inhabitants of Marseille.
When you arrive at Les Goudes, rather than continuing towards Callelongue, turn right to reach Cap Croisette. A diving club, a restaurant and a very small cove are located in the middle of nowhere, facing the Maïre island.
Cap Croisette is also a diving spot. Between the local fauna and flora, you can also discover an old wreck dating from 1902, the Liban, a liner lying behind the island of Maïre at 30 meters depth.
The island of Maïre is a protected ornithological reserve, seagulls have taken up residence there and can be very aggressive during the brooding period. Although easily accessible by swimming, land access is forbidden, as for the majority of the islands of the Calanques National Park: protected area.

Between June 1st and September 30th, access to the calanques is regulated by prefectural decree and may be regulated by municipal decree, for your safety and the preservation of sensitive sites. Before following your "walking desires", call 0811 20 13 13. Each day, you will be able to know if the site where you wish to walk is open all day, open only in the morning, or completely closed. Depending on the weather conditions, the level of danger "forest fire" (green-yellow-orange-red) is known at the latest at 6pm for the next day.
