Presentation

It is traditional in Provence to celebrate the nativity of Jesus during a Pastoral. In Martigues, the Pastoraliers Martégaux invite you to participate in a festive afternoon.
Let’s gather around a good Provençal meal (here, we love aioli!) and a glass of friendship to celebrate the start of this year 2026. 

Let’s laugh at a theatre and singing show in the regional language featuring traditional crib characters. 
25 amateur actors gather on stage for 3 hours to revisit the great moments of Christ’s birth. 

We look forward to seeing you from 12 p.m. at the salle du Grès in Martigues, this Sunday, January 11, 2026.  
Opening of the room at 11:45
12h: aperitif followed by the meal: daube, mandarin, papillotes, wine and coffee.
2:30 PM; beginning of the show.
17h - 17h30: cake of the kings and glass of cider.
18h: end of the service

Possibility to attend the show only from 2:30 PM (ticket office on site).
