Presentation

The visit takes place on the Figuerolles plateau from the main entrance of the Park to the ruin of the Restanques overlooking the pond of Berre.
Until the middle of the 20th century, the Figuerolles park consisted of more or less large agricultural estates, mainly cultivated by Martégaux (the main owners were the Deverville family).

There are two types of works:
- Hydraulic constructions: they are essential because there is no surface water on the site. Hence the importance of water recovery and conservation for all homeowners through wells, ponds, cisterns, drains, water towers, irrigation creeks and waterways. drainage.

- Farm buildings and facilities: farms, sheds, threshing areas, and terraced fields.
