Presentation

It is easy to reach the Croix-Sainte district on foot or by bike from Martigues city center. Via Avenue Urdy Milou from the Town Hall, you will enjoy a long-standing industrial landscape.
As you walk along the Caronte Canal (also known as Chenal de Caronte), you will certainly come across many fishermen. 6.5 kilometers long and 250 meters wide, it is the favorite fishing spot for sea bream enthusiasts.

You can take the greenway parallel to the main road, which also serves as a fitness trail. This path was recently developed to allow pedestrians and cyclists to enjoy this natural space with their families.

The greenway stops in the commercial area of Croix-Sainte with the presence of the Intermarché and Aldi supermarkets. You can continue walking on the sidewalks until you reach the Croix-Sainte railway station.
