This cooperative winery works with respect for traditions, while using the most modern and efficient means.
The Venice of Provence was rewarded at the Salon de l'Agriculture (Paris):
- In 2019: The 2017 Cuvée Réserve Rouge is adorned with a very beautiful Silver Medal from the General Agricultural Competition.
- In 2016: two silver medals in the AOC Côteaux d'Aix rosé category, and in the rosé Vin de Pays Mediterranean category.
In 2018: new Miss cuvée (white and rosé). The rosé is a medalist at the Aix-en-Provence fair.
In 2019: new Mas du moulin vintage, a tribute to the founding fathers of La Venise Provençale. Grape varieties grown on a clay-limestone slope facing due south.
Rare thing: the red was raised in terracotta jars which gives it its softness and its texture.
It is accompanied by a very beautiful Mas du Moulin Rosé version (gold medalist at the Aix-En-Provence fair). Fruit of the union of Grenache Noir and Counoise. This last grape variety, native is little cultivated today, and which brings a very surprising tension and minerality to this pretty rosé of gastronomy.
In 2021: launch of the first Organic Cuvée. It is a white wine made only from Vermentino, and vinified in natural yeasts for the most faithful expression of the terroir possible.
In Saint-Julien-les-Martigues, between the Etang de Berre and the sea, the winemakers of Provençal Venice receive in a cellar on a human scale, in the immediate vicinity of a city which deserves to be lingered .
