The Provençal Venice unfolds its terroir from Martigues to the Côte Bleue. We offer you sun-kissed wines with a touch of marine freshness—red, rosé, or white—under the AOP Aix-en-Provence or IGP Méditerranée appellations, along with a selection of bistronomic products.
Maritima Avaticorum, a Gallo-Roman city established on the current site of Martigues, marks the starting point of over two millennia of winemaking in Provence, characterized by the discovery of a vine stock dating back to two centuries before Christ.
A few years later, in 1957, the Provençal Venice was born from the vision of a handful of pioneering winemakers. The first harvest in 1959 was primarily focused on red wine production. We then embraced the rise of rosé and now the recognition of white wines. The pursuit of quality remains our guiding principle.
In 2024, the vineyard consists of 165 winemakers cultivating 185 hectares, mainly in the hamlets of St. Julien and St. Pierre, a vast basin of limestone, layered marl, and sand. With exceptional sunshine, proximity to the sea, and a dry climate benefiting from maritime influences and the mistral wind, our terroir offers an ideal setting for vine cultivation.
With our roots in tradition and our eyes on the future, we have undertaken major modernization projects in our winery to support our ambitions. Our commitment is rewarded by the continued loyalty of our local and visiting customers.
We offer a wide range of products, from fruit juices to traditional winemaking methods. Our selection includes vibrant cuvées with a modern twist as well as others aged in barrels or clay jars, under the AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence and IGP Méditerranée appellations.
We also provide a selection of bistronomic local specialties, such as the famous bottarga, olive oil, charcuterie, honey, and many more delicacies to enjoy alongside our wines and discover our beautiful gastronomy.
Our entire team is at your service to share the nectars of the Provençal Venice!
