The tour begins with a stroll through the picturesque Ile district, nicknamed the fishermen's quarter. With its canals, colorful facades, and traditional boats, this neighborhood will bring the city's maritime past to life while admiring postcard-perfect scenery. The tour then continues to a place steeped in history: the Calen. This fishing hut, established since 1908 on the banks of the Caronte Canal, is one of the last surviving examples of traditional mullet and bottarga fishing.
