Gallifet Art Centre
Museum Fine Arts Modern/contemporary artPresentation
Convinced that "artists are the most able to speak about our time", Nicolas Mazet has opened wide the doors of this family home in order to allow everyone to measure and apprehend with another look the world in which we live.
The Gallifet art centre stands in an 18th century manor in Aix's Mazarin area and is a go-to for any art lover who likes to discuss their favourite subject and meet artists. Five large exhibition halls shaded by century-old trees introduce visitors to exciting artists and contemporary talents. On top of that there are outdoor concerts, supper clubs and conferences about art figures on the agenda depending on the season.
Between June and September you can enjoy a simple and sophisticated lunch featuring ingredients from the next door kitchen garden in the garden, a cup of tea or snack during an afternoon jazz concert or a glass of house rosé in the evening.
Disabled facilities: the grounds and exhibition halls are all disabled-friendly.
