Come aboard a boat for a photographic adventure along the canals of "La Venise provençale". On board, you'll have the unique opportunity to photograph Martigues from a whole new angle. The boat trip will take you through the heart of the town, cruising along the emblematic canals to the lift bridge and on to the Calen. Capture the reflections of the colourful facades in the water, the liveliness of the quays and the majesty of the urban structures from a rare perspective. After the cruise, a walk to Punta San Crist offers further photo opportunities, allowing you to explore and immortalise the transition between land and sea. The day ends in style with a sunset photo session, facing the Martigues viaduct in the golden light of dusk.
The Office de Tourisme et des Loisirs, in partnership with the Photo Club de Martigues, invites you to take part in a series of four unique photographic walks, in the heart of the town and along the water. These outings give you the chance to discover the beauty of Martigues through your camera, while exploring its picturesque landscapes, rich architectural heritage and enchanting light.
Guidance and advice
Guided by experienced members of the Photo Club de Martigues, you'll receive expert advice on perfecting your photographic technique. They'll share practical tips on how to optimise your compositions, get the most out of your equipment and get the most out of your shots. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced photographer, these photo walks are the perfect opportunity to exchange ideas, learn new techniques and capture some remarkable images.
Showcasing talent
At the end of the walks, you'll have the chance to submit your best photos for a special selection. The winning images will be showcased at the prestigious 4th Festival de la Fédération Photographique de France 2025, in Martigues. This festival will be an exceptional showcase for celebrating the art of photography and promoting your talent.
