Why is this activity not accessible to everyone?
  1. Terrain and Bridges: To connect Ferrières, l'Île, and Jonquières, the tour crosses several bridges. Some have steep inclines or steps that pose significant obstacles for wheelchair users.
  2. Historic Paving: The charm of the Île district lies in its old alleyways. However, the presence of uneven cobblestones, loose paving stones, and very narrow (or even nonexistent in some places) sidewalks makes walking difficult and unstable.
  3. Complex Urban Pathways: The route crosses shared traffic areas where street furniture (bollards, posts) and changes in level (high curbs) complicate progress for visually impaired or mobility-impaired individuals.
  4. Duration and Standing Time: The guided tour lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Stops for historical explanations often take place in public spaces where seating (benches) is not guaranteed at every stop.
