• Where are the military remains located ? The remains are mainly found in the hills of La Gatasse in La Couronne, along the Mediterranean coast.
• From what period do these remains date ? These military structures date back to World War II and were built by the German army in 1943-1944.
• What can be seen during the visit ? Visitors can discover bunkers, observation posts, ammunition depots, platforms, trenches, and fire control posts.
• Are there guided tours ? Yes, guided tours are organized. The next dates are February 13, March 13, and April 24, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM.
• What is the price of the guided tour ? The fixed price is €6 per person.
• What is the length and difficulty of the full hike ? The complete loop is 10.6 km, lasts about 3 hours, and is considered of medium difficulty. During this visit, participants only walk a 4.7 km section (round trip).
• Can the visit be done as a family ? Yes, the visit is suitable for families with children aged 6 and above.
• What should visitors bring ? It is recommended to wear suitable walking shoes and warm clothing due to the wind.
