Presentation

Martigues cultivates its resemblance to Venice, discover 140 masked and costumed people from France and Europe. Dressed in their finest attire, they will wander around the town for your pleasure.
For 18 years, Martigues has been adorned for a weekend with its most beautiful finery. From place to place, from alleys to gardens, the Venetian costumed people will share with you in music their passion for the Venetian Carnival.
Exceptional moments that will bring our “Provençal Venice” back to life.

- Masked strolls: Saturday morning and afternoon, Sunday morning and afternoon.
- Saturday at 6pm: Stage show at the Théâtre de verdure.
- Sunday from 3pm to 5pm: Musical show at Place de La
Libération.

- From September 4 to 8: The Italian village. Craft and gastronomic market at the Jardin de Ferrières. Late night on Friday and Saturday. Around twenty Italian producers and artisans will take visitors on a journey around the Belpæse with their specialties.
