Presentation

La Pastorale Maurel, a play performed in Provençal, tells the story of the nativity of Jesus. The pastoralists from Martégaux perform it in Martigues at the beginning of each year.
The Pastoraliers Martégaux invite you to attend this original production. Performed in the purest Provençal tradition, the play "Pastorale Maurel" remains a must-see each New Year. The most renowned pastorale in Provence is La Maurel, created in 1844 by Antoine Maurel.

On Sunday, January 11th at the Salle Prévert, you can attend the performance only (without a meal).
On Sunday, January 25th at the Salle du Grès, you can enjoy both the meal and the performance.
