La Pastorale Maurel, a play performed in Provençal, tells the story of the nativity of Jesus. The pastoralists from Martégaux perform it in Martigues at the beginning of each year.

The Pastoraliers Martégaux invite you to attend this original creation. Performed in the pure Provençal tradition, the play "Pastorale Maurel" remains a must-see every new year. The most famous pastorale in Provence is the Maurel created in 1844 by Antoine Maurel.

On January 12 at the Salle Prévert, you can attend only the show (without meal).

On January 26 at the Salle du Grès, you can enjoy the meal (aioli) and the show.

Tickets available from the Martigues Tourist and Leisure Office.
