Martigues Rugby Club is organizing a summer camp exclusively for girls born between 2012 and 2016, open to all—from beginners to experienced players.
Over the course of five days, participants will have the opportunity to discover and try out a wide range of sports and water-based activities in a friendly, safe environment:
Rugby and beach rugby
Stand-up paddleboarding
Diving
Pedalo boating
Boat trips
Traditional rowing
Water games
Multi-sport activities
The camp aims to promote women's participation in sports, social cohesion, and self-confidence, while introducing participants to the outdoor activities available in the Martigues area.
Beyond the sporting aspect, the camp is part of a broader initiative to promote equality and women's rights. A specially designed civic engagement workshop will allow participants to explore themes such as respect, self-confidence, gender equality, and civic involvement through fun, age-appropriate activities. The week will conclude with a social gathering bringing together the young participants and their families for a celebratory meal, honoring the values of sharing, solidarity, and empowerment at the heart of the project.
