Presentation

An amazing experience to discover the plant world in a new way: live-connected plants, electrical signals, music, videos, explanations, and demonstrations.
La Bastide des Joncas welcomes Jean & Frédérique Thoby for an afternoon and evening dedicated to the music of plants.
An amazing experience offering a new perspective on the plant world: live-connected plants, electrical signals, music, videos, explanations, and demonstrations.

PROGRAM

2:00 PM — Doors open: Welcome, socializing, and access to the stand.

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM — TALK & DEMONSTRATIONS
During the session:
- Botanical Music: Its history, its world, and its various forms of expression.
- Botanical Music Therapy: Its applications and "bio-compatible" melodies.
- Music of Plants applied to agriculture: Vineyards, horticulture, market gardening, arboriculture, olive growing, and other crops.
- Live demonstrations: Plants will be connected to capture their signals and transform them into music.

An audio experience that can range from relaxing music to far more unexpected musical realms.

5:00 PM – 5:15 PM — Q&A and discussion
5:15 PM – 5:45 PM — Break & access to the stand
6:30 PM – 7:15 PM — BOTANICAL CONCERT
A musical finale showcasing various expressions of the Music of Plants, ranging from botanical music therapy to a wide variety of musical styles.

Doors close at 8:00 PM.
Opening period (s)Sunday 18 October 2026 between 3 pm and 8 pm.
