Following the restoration of the Ferrières beach and the creation of the Théâtre de Verdure, this garden completes the project to reclaim the banks of the Etang de Berre for local residents: market, children's activities, gardening workshops, etc.
11H - Official opening ceremony.
With the CCAS choir accompanied by children from the Maison Eugénie Cotton. Aperitif offered by the City of Martigues with the participation of the Paillotes de la plage de Ferrières.
9.45 am and 10.15 am - Sports and aquatic walks for young adults, adults and seniors.
Duration: 30 minutes (maximum 30 people). On Ferrières beach. Sports session in the water. Bring water shoes, a cap, a towel, a swimming costume and a change of clothes.
10am to 6pm - The ‘Beau Printemps’ market.
Organic food, crafts, well-being and sustainable development.
10am to 1pm - It's party time in the garden!
- Entertainment for children aged 4 to 12. Magicians, bubble blowers, wooden games, craft workshops, balloon sculptor.
- Urban sports workshops for 8- to 14-year-olds. Scooter, skateboard, slackline and indoboard. Organised by the Sports Department.
- Gardening workshops. Gardening advice, plant donation, potting workshop. Guided tours of the garden at 10am, 2pm and 4pm. Registration on site. Organised by the City's Green Spaces Department.
- Storytelling workshops. Readings and games with the Médiabus. Organised by the Louis Aragon multimedia library.
And all day long
Enjoy the shade of the garden and swimming on the Ferrières beach with its straw huts! (lifeguard surveillance from 11am to 7pm).
