Presentation
Join Les Joyeux Bombyles for an adventure in the Figuerolles hills of Martigues. You'll make your way peacefully through olive groves, flower-filled meadows and shady undergrowth.
Along the way, the silent ruins of old farm sheds will offer us a quiet invitation to meditate on the work of time. And on this Easter Sunday, children will be invited to follow in the footsteps of spring... a joyful quest awaits them, in search of the eggs hidden by some mischievous rabbit!
Children will be able to run, play, laugh, climb, touch... in short, they'll be given the freedom to be themselves. And as usual, along the way we've planned little activities for all the family. I have a feeling we're going to have a great Sunday!
For Les Joyeux Bombyles, it's the journey that's important, not the destination: along the way, the children play freely, and we're happy to stop and look at a pretty flower or a strange insect. So there are frequent stops, and all the better for not being in a hurry. Our routes are designed to give you a mini-adventure in the heart of nature. We love the stony lanes, the paths that go deep into the forest, the old ruins, the twisted trees... Our walks are an experience of sharing and discovery, where young and old can marvel together.
- Meeting point: 11am at the dinosaur playground, near the small car park. The GPS location of the meeting point will be sent to you once you have registered.
- Distance and difficulty: A walk of less than 5 km. The route mainly follows dirt and gravel paths.
- Equipment: Good walking shoes, ideally soft for greater comfort and agility, will be required. Dress for the weather and remember to bring a change of clothes for the children. A baby carrier may be useful for younger children.
- Public: open to the whole family: parents, children of all ages (including babies in slings), grandparents, friends and nature lovers. During the walk, children remain the responsibility of their parents.
- Meals: we plan to have a picnic break at midday and a snack at the end of the walk. So don't forget to bring your lunch!
- Weather: in the event of bad weather, the walk will be postponed and you will be entitled to a full refund.
- Registration required on HelloAsso (click on ‘Register here’ in the orange rectangle).
Les Joyeux Bombyles is a non-profit association. If, at the end of this outing, you decide to join us, the cost of the outing will be deducted from your annual membership.
