Presentation

Ideally located a stone's throw from the magical setting of the Miroir aux oiseaux, the Place de la Libération in Martigues changes its tempo all summer long.
Whether you are an exceptional dancer or simply a spectator enjoying a drink on the terrace while watching the performers, the warm atmosphere of the "Venice of Provence" is sure to win you over.

Tuesdays (Latin Vibe): Renowned local DJ Paco Team Latino takes the stage for high-energy salsa, bachata, and kizomba sessions.
Thursdays in August: An all-styles dance night hosted by the Free Danse association.
Saturdays (Theme Nights & Live Music): DJ Tonio Events takes charge, featuring live performances that blend percussion and saxophone. Look forward to a variety of themed nights throughout the season (80s/90s, Brazilian Carnival, Gypsy-themed night, etc.).

These events are organized by the four local businesses on the square: La Cocotte de l’Île, Accademia Caffé, Café de la Marine, and Pub Provençal-La Canolle.

"L’Île en Fêtes" embodies the true spirit of summer in Martigues: music, good vibes, socializing, and festive evenings to share with family and friends!
