Presentation
The Martigues Tourist Office and the Randonnée Ski Découverte (RSD) association invite you to take part in a unique urban hike: "Martigues Illuminée".
An experience combining discovery of the city center and climbing to the heights of Martigues, to admire the city at nightfall.
Start your walk in the city center of Martigues, crossing the bridges, quays and emblematic squares. Cross the garden of La Rode, a green space on the edge of the Berre pond. Then, begin the gradual ascent of the hill leading to the mill and the Notre-Dame-des-Marins chapel, the highest point in Martigues.
Arriving at the summit at dusk, enjoy a breathtaking view of the city which slowly lights up as day gives way to night. A breathtaking panorama, perfect for lovers of urban landscapes and photography!
Distance: 9 km. Difficulty: Medium. Expected return: Around 6:30 p.m.
To round off this adventure, a hot drink (mulled wine or hot chocolate) will be offered to you on arrival to warm you up and share a friendly moment.
Registration opens in November at the Martigues Tourist Office.
Come and experience a hike that combines urban heritage, nature and exceptional panoramas of Martigues!
