The Caravane Bleue transforms public squares into real Water Festivals: theatre, performances, installations, music and dance. At the Village des Fadas du Monde, in Martigues, on the edge of a pond and pine forest, at the Base nautique municipale de Tholon. Free admission.
Programme :
-Theatre: Les fables de la nouvelle fontaine, Théâtre de crues, La Vague à bascule.
- Performances: Le Charmeur d'Eau, Les bouteilles périmées.
- Participatory: Le Manège Inondation, Le Pêche-Déchets.
- Installations: Le Manège-Arbre, La Place de l'Eau, Le Fil de l'Eau.
- Live music: Les Musiques des Eaux.
- Festive parade and Water Ball.
At 6pm, opening of the Caravane Bleue, a water village with shows and entertainment for all by the Ilotopie company.
Like a funfair, the public can wander around the site and choose their programme: See the show ‘Olga’ about the follies of flooding, listen to the water charmer, calculate your personal water capacity, take a ride with the actors on a rocking wave, go round the weeping tree on a merry-go-round and ride the furniture washed away by the water, listen to the musicians and meet some strange characters, lean over the well and discover underwater life, sit by the Provençal pool to hear the fables of the new fountain.
And then, at around 8pm, set off on a musical parade around the site to make the rain fall.
Around 8.30pm, the ball: dancing for water in vibrant sarabands. The ball ends at 9.30pm.
Water will run out, water will rise, let's celebrate to protect it.

" Our village is your village‘, some people chant... ’Festive! Festive‘, sing some... ’Popular! Once again, the Fadas du Monde are inventing the Village, welcoming proposals from everyone, our friends, our families... The world!
