Latino - tropical Caribbean DJ set. Salsa, merengue, bachata... she takes the dancefloor to Afro-Caribbean sounds. At the Village des Fadas du Monde, in Martigues, beside the lake and pine forest, at the Base nautique municipale de Tholon. Free admission.
Dj MamaLoba invites us on a sonic journey through the most cutting-edge flavours typical of the great diversity of Latin American music.
His speciality: mixing the traditional with the urban, the old with the new. Her genre: Caribbean Latin-tropical.
Since 2022, she has produced and hosted a weekly radio programme on Radio Galère: Que Viva la música! which showcases local, national and international artists.
She has always had a passion for dance.
She has been dancing salsa for 20 years, and in 2023 began developing a workshop concept to raise awareness of the rhythm and body of salsa. It's called Salsa sans frontière.
Since the creation of the Divas Prod association (2025), she has started to set up djing workshops for women, to encourage them to take control of their lives through music.
Dj MamaLoba was born at the confluence of different cultures. In her native Paris, she drew on her multiple origins to evolve in the culture of the street, hiphop, r'nb and African rhythms. She then spent more than ten years living in Latin America, particularly in Caracas, Venezuela, where her passion for Afro-Latin music, especially salsa, grew.
She now lives in Marseille, her new home.
Dj MamaLoba became a dj in a pack, with Las Divasdel Perreo, which she founded with two other female djs in 2021 in Marseille. Her name is a combination of Oxmo Puccino's song of the same name, ‘Mama lova’, and her identity as a mother with a new latin name. A true werewolf at the helm of traditional and contemporary Latin sounds.
