Les Fadas de Musique, held on Mondays in the courtyard of L'Île, is a chance for residents and visitors to Martigues to encounter a singular artistic universe.
The blues of the south need no compass to plumb the depths of the soul. And while his music carries the torments of the Mississippi, from Delta to Jump to Chicago blues, it also breathes African 6/8 rhythms.
Her new show, ‘Blue Legacy’, goes back to the inexhaustible source of the blues, perpetuating her creative fibre and transforming melancholy into a vibrant celebration of life in her gravelly voice.
