Originally from La Réunion, Sika Rlion is the rising star of the new Afro-Reggae scene. At the Village des Fadas du Monde, in Martigues, on the banks of a lake and pine forest, at the Base nautique municipale de Tholon. Free admission.
Sika Rlion offers us a subtle blend of Trap, Afro and RnB sounds, sometimes tinged with Maloya, where French lyrics are combined with Creole.
Described as the voice of Reunion's new wave, she brings a breath of fresh air to the musical landscape, and opens the door to a very promising new scene.
She released her debut album ENDEMIK on 25 April 2025, a project that is denser and richer, but still deeply sincere.
Sika's voice is clear, alternately luminous, furious and vulnerable. She sings, she kicks, she dares. ENDEMIK reveals a multi-faceted artist.
Sika Rlion has been causing a stir since the release of her debut EP, Intense. Just 6 months after their release, the first two singles ‘Galet’ and ‘Laisse Tomber’ had already racked up nearly 2 million listens, earning her her first award: the Reggae Dancehall Award for Most Streamed Female Artist.
‘Valer’, her most recent single, already has 460,000 views on YouTube.
