Carro's multi-media riders are organizing, in partnership with Lou Martègue, a free photo competition open to all amateur or professional photographers.
The competition aims to highlight this formidable and magnificent
space of freedom Martégal, a privileged playground for various nautical practices to the delight of riders, passers-by, photographers, tourists: The Arnettes Surf Spot in Carro (Martigues)... and that of La Couronne!
The photos will have the general theme: “the Spots of La Couronne-Carro” broken down into several categories. Water sports (windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoil, stand-up paddle, surfing, boats) but also the sea, nature, sunsets, vintage fashion and lifestyle ("Lifestyle" mode). Photographs must be taken at La Couronne or Carro.
A prestigious and renowned jury will designate 4 photos per category which will then be submitted to public votes during a large festive evening on the Port of Carro, on June 1, 2024 from 8:30 p.m.
Jury: Marc Blanc, Yann Clave, Arnaud Chasset, Caro Duby, Raphaël Filippi, Nicolas Jarossay, Franck Germain, Sébastien Lancar, Mathieu Mautalen, Jr Piot, Sylvain Puig, Anne Querol, Michel Laeli, Michèle Didier.
Deadline for participation: May 19, 2024.
Evening of June 1: Popular vote from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. Presentation of the event partners: Lou Martegue, Carro Festival Committee, SNSM, Martigues Photo club.
