Presentation
The Kantren, a venerable ocean-going sailing ship. Its mission: to smuggle Padkoté seeds. This 30-minute entresort invites the public aboard a deep-sea sailing ship. Quai d'honneur, Town Hall. Free, booking required.
Once on board, fed and watered, our new crew take part in a strange voodoo ritual to sharpen our skills for what lies ahead: otherness, self-sacrifice, sharing, intoxication and poetry.
When we were kids, we used to wander the pontoons to slip a glance and our dreams into the saloon of the yachts alongside.
The years have gone by, the climate has got out of hand, the whistleblowers have exhausted themselves in vain...
Today, as greying youngsters, we open up the intimacy of our canvas vessel to onlookers. And, failing to worry them any more about the storms that are brewing, we're sharing with them the solution we've chosen for our lives: the sideways step.
Distribution.
- Christophe Vignal.
Les Mange-Cailloux, Portez-vous bien ! Cie
Our scribe, lighting designer and director. He is André, the mechanic and scholar on board.
- Benoît Campens.
Convoi Exceptionnel, Barkes Orkestra, les Yourgis, le Syndicat du Chrome...
Our administrator, composites specialist and conductor. He plays Bébert, the sailor on board.
- Philippe Laliard.
Begat Theater
Our chief builder and sound engineer. He plays Mimine, master cockerel and tender shaman.
- Hervé Cristianini.
The captain of our story, but also our outside eye.
