Presentation

The Avignon-Provence National Orchestra, under the direction of Enyi Okpara, returns to Les Salins for a rare encounter between cellist Camille Thomas and clarinetist Yom, around a creation by Fabien Cali, composer in residence.
A singular clarinetist with a free-spirited career, Yom has established himself over the past twenty years as a unique voice, nourished as much by the klezmer tradition as by contemporary explorations. From his early days at the Conservatory to his most audacious projects, he has constantly engaged in a dialogue between heritage and invention, traversing styles with an insatiable curiosity. Between klezmer resonances and Eastern influences, this symphonic creation expands the boundaries of the classical concerto and opens a space for sensitive listening, like an invitation to a collective, free, and universal meditation.
