Presentation

Discover Martigues through the prism of the bridges that dot its landscape: those that can be seen and those that no longer exist. Leaving from the Art, History, Archaeology and Archives Department, 14 cours Aristide Briand, in the L'Île district. Registration required.
Crossed by water, Martigues cannot be envisioned without bridges, obvious visual markers, which one could not do without. Whether they are giant and punctuate our views of the Caronte Channel, spectacular or modest, or even blended into the urban landscape, they make the link. This route in 6 stages offers round trips between present and past and makes it possible to make visible the missing bridges, and with them the traces of bygone activities.
Opening period (s)Saturday 22 March 2025 between 2.30 pm and 4 pm.
