The Livrodrome: the unmissable event to kick off your summer with books! On the program, nearly 20 activities await teenagers, including some completely new attractions.
In case of rain, head to the Louis Aragon Media Library.
Dedicated to teenagers and pre-teens aged 10 to 18, as well as families, Livrodrome is a literary amusement park that tours France every summer, setting up in 10 cities and inviting the public to discover books like never before by participating in nearly 15 original, fun, and engaging literary attractions. They can then leave with books thanks to the hundreds of book vouchers offered at each stop.
On the program:
- Literary Beach Volleyball, where teenagers can enjoy the benefits of the beach by combining sports and reading!
- A first look at the Games Corner, which will soon open at the Louis Aragon Media Library, for teenagers to discover.
- Outdoor Readings, where you can listen to readings of thrillers, fantasy novels, and stories in the open air!
- Guests: Rémi Giordano, Jean-Michel Billioud, Anaïs Sautier, Iris Pouy, Camille Potte, Emilie Harel, and Marie HL, who will brilliantly host the Méli-Mélo!
- Publisher Thierry Magnier from the eponymous publishing house will also be present.
- Workshops will include a printmaking workshop, notably with the association Le Singe Batteur.
- Fossa FM will accompany local youth to provide entertainment throughout the day.
Nearly 500 book vouchers will be given to teenagers to celebrate their participation in our programs, and they can use them directly in the Livrodrome bookstore area, run by the city's independent bookstores: L’Alinéa and L’Argonaute.
