Presentation

Robert Schumann expresses the sentiment of love through two cycles of Lieder for voice and piano.
"A Woman's Life and Love" and "A Poet's Love" are two song cycles composed by Robert Schumann.
They will be performed by mezzo-soprano Karine Magnetto and bass-baritone Jean-Christophe Maurice, with piano accompaniment by Pierre Contat.
