Fancy a shared reading break? This is for anyone who enjoys reading aloud or listening to stories. Whether you prefer a hot cup of tea or a draft beer, come along and share your favorite books—either by reading them aloud or simply enjoying them in quiet company.
A workshop open to everyone: including blind and visually impaired individuals, people with learning disabilities (dys-conditions), those currently learning to read, and more.
This month, we will explore the "solarpunk" literary style through a variety of works. Solarpunk is a literary and artistic genre—as well as a political movement—that envisions an optimistic, ecological, and egalitarian future, standing in stark contrast to the dark dystopias of cyberpunk.
