For this new adventure created at the Avignon IN Festival 2024, Gwenaël Morin takes on Cervantes' masterpiece and is accompanied by the whimsical Jeanne Balibar in the title role.

The director, madly in love with theater at its most essential, draws a fair parallel between the spectator's quest and that which animates Don Quixote: the search for “what does not yet exist”. Thus, like the improbable epic of the Ingenious Hidalgo and his faithful Sancho, accompanied by the old horse Rocinante and the donkey, Quixote promises to be a sweet madness, liberating and necessary.
