Presentation
The history of Martigues and its intimate and unwavering connection with water. A photo exhibition in partnership with the Martigues Photoclub. At the Martigues Tourist and Leisure Office, in the island district. Free entry.
Martigues, rocked by the waters that surround and cross it, invites you to a poetic walk, an intoxicating dance, between land and water. Through a series of captivating and poetic photographs, discover how the city has evolved along with the water and how this elixir of life has shaped its landscape, its heritage and its ways of life.
The murmurs of ancient wash houses that meet the sweet melody of ornate fountains. Between technical progress and architectural innovations. Learn how Men have worked to master this indomitable element, from yesterday to today. Here, the reflections of the canals paint a living picture, where each drop tells a story. A story in which innovation and tradition intertwine. A story of Life. A story of Men.
