Presentation

To commemorate the start of the Cambodian genocide in 1975, the town of Martigues is hosting an exhibition of photographs by Micheline Dullin (1927-2020). At the Site Pablo Picasso, Espace Silence.
Micheline Dullin, a resident of Martigues and official photographer to Prince Norodom Sihanouk, was on assignment in Cambodia from 1958 to 1964.
Her rare images bear witness to a long-gone, happy Cambodia, swept away by four years of atrocious war.
In addition to this exhibition, lectures, screenings, writing workshops, visual arts, dance, book signings, and shadow theater will examine the history
of Cambodia from the 1960s to the present day and will allow visitors to reflect on the memorial issues that arise in the context of mass killings.
