Presentation

In an unexpected fusion of theater, storytelling and hip-hop dance, Olivier Letellier ingeniously stages a mother's mad dash to save her child.
This show tells the story of little Akil, 9 years old, whose heart could stop at any moment. His little heart acts like a fool, races, slows down, panics. In the country where he lives, you have to pay for surgery, so he counts the decades it would take to raise the money... But suddenly, a glimmer of hope gives him back the strength to exist: what if his mother's light legs could win the marathon, and the prize that goes with it? Inspired by popping, voguing and house music, the young hip-hop dancer Fatma-Zahra Ahmed carries with great sensitivity the fight of this ordinary and heroic mother, accompanied by the actor Romain Njoh. The duo deploys, in the middle of the audience on the stage, a unique energy in this powerful and universal story, which rejects fatality and makes hope a driving force of life. An ode to the power of love and its ability to transcend destiny!
