In her Atelier Galerie located in the historic heart of “Venice Provençale” this adopted Martegal exhibits her latest creations all summer long. For more than 20 years now, she has painted there and received her visitors with this generosity.
Born in Epinal in 1960. Marguerite Nadal now resides in Martigues. For 23 years now, in her Atelier Galerie located in the historic heart of Venice Provençale, the island district, this adopted Martegal has been exhibiting her works all summer long. She paints there and receives her visitors with this passion that animates her.
Landscapes from here and elsewhere, scenes of life, portraits, rub shoulders in a contemporary style, a mixture of figuration and abstraction, material, masking which gives relief to some of his paintings.
"A total abstraction bothers me, it is with it that I often start to create a painting, but I need to find a reference point. It is a starting point for a reflection, an idea, of an exchange between the painting and me."
We also find landscapes of our region, but not only… Universes in the field of industry are always recurrent in his work.
"For me painting is writing, a mode of expression with all its freedom. I like to see people read my paintings looking for the hidden phrase, each time, I need a strong inspiration in order to to approach things from a particular angle and to express myself over the subjects."
Opening on Saturday June 1 from 5 p.m.
