Imagine two beings carrying black boxes on their heads, blank canvases ready to be dressed with a thousand faces, ephemeral graffiti and changing landscapes.
Justine Macadoux and Coralie Maniez use these boxes as living canvases where each gesture becomes a silent narration and each image a moving story.
In this unique show, non-verbal language is king. The black boxes become windows to a world where body expressions and sounds tell of a starry sky, a black and white city, a colorful bird or faces with multiple expressions. With chalk drawings, sound effects and technical gestures, the artists weave a web of human relationships, exploring the diversity of emotions and identities. This experience, both playful and metaphysical, captivates young and old with its poetry, its humor and its delicacy. Between masked play and object theater, a whole story takes shape, is guessed and sometimes erased, the better to invent itself. A surreal and poetic journey for little ones, but also for older ones.
