Presentation

As part of the Fête de la science, take a unique trip through the Galerie de l'Histoire de Martigues with a series of workshops on mills, builders and Gallo-Roman artefacts. Free, registration required. For children aged 8 and over.
- Wednesday 9 October at 2pm: The geniuses of energy.
Mills have long been a major feature of the Martale landscape. The maps on display will help you to understand their importance to the area, and then the workshop will give you the chance to use your imagination and design a mill using
materials.

- Wednesday 16 October at 2pm: Tomorrow's builders.
After a historical presentation of housing in Martigues, the children play architect and design the house of their dreams.

- Wednesday 23 October at 2pm: On the trail of Gallo-Roman artefacts.
The tour begins with an overview of the Gallo-Roman sites in the area, before inviting children to sketch, in the manner of archaeologists, emblematic objects from this period found during archaeological digs.
