Presentation

Since 2011, Hors Surface has been defending a new, multiple and highly demanding acrobatic circus. Damien Droin imagines scenographies that are always very spectacular.
In this new creation, he designs a huge Plexiglas wall surrounded by two trampolines, all on a hundred casters. He invites us to imagine aerobatics as an act of freedom. A journey where each jump, each dizziness tells us of the doubts of these acrobats.

A wall on stage separates people, ideas, spaces. Huge and impassable, only one side is visible, the other remains open to the imagination. Face aux Murs tells us about intimate battles, revealing each person's blockages, barriers and common challenges, bringing together a small humanity which faces impasses. Intrepid dreamers seek to make the best of the inevitable collision of the present moment with possible futures; it is the perpetual human search to free ourselves from frameworks and open horizons.
