Presentation

The exhibition explores how movement, emotion and the physical effort inherent in sport inspire artists, with photos, sculptures, panels, a lecture...At the Martigues Tourist and Leisure Office, in the Ile district. Free admission.
The exhibition highlights how art can capture and sublimate the beauty and power of the sporting gesture.
The Art of Sport transcends mere athletic performance to become a true expression of human beauty and creativity.

Stadiums and arenas are transformed into galleries where every gesture is a work of art and every match a tableau vivant. The Art of Sport thus celebrates the quest for excellence, passion and collective effort, while forging universal links across cultural and linguistic boundaries.
