Solo exhibition by Nicholas Manning – oils, pastels, and prints featuring landscapes of the Étang de Berre. Opening reception on June 25 at 6 p.m., attended by the artist. Free admission.
The exhibition "Spectres sur mer" brings together around thirty works—including oil paintings, pastels, and prints—centered on a key question: what landscapes retain of the elements that have passed through them. The light of the Étang de Berre plays a central role—at once familiar and uncanny, it serves as the basis for a meditation on presence and disappearance, rooted in Symbolist and metaphysical traditions. This marks Nicholas Manning’s first solo exhibition in the PACA region, following numerous group shows in Lyon and a debut solo exhibition earlier this year. The artist will be present.
Opening period (s)From 25/06 to 18/07/2026 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10 am and 6.30 pm.
