To celebrate at the start of this year: a unique choreographic piece at your fingertips where dance flirts with cinema!
Belgian dancers and choreographers Gabriella Iacono and Grégory Grosjean invite us on a thrilling journey through the history of dance, a joyful ballet for two bodies and four hands, filmed live and projected onto a large screen.
Amidst a unique and spectacular set design, miniature scenery emerges, folding and fitting together, within which a man and a woman travel through the centuries, dancing with their hands, with their fingertips. From Broadway to Paris, from Brussels to Harlem, the dancers traverse the great stages, revisiting ballet, musicals, rock, contemporary dance, and hip-hop. The stage becomes a magical performance space that transforms with each dance; hands leap, sway, and whisk us away to a reinvented street corner, opera house, or ballroom. A poetic journey and, above all, a feast for the eyes!
