Arcanes is an immersive and sensory theatrical experience, born from the encounter between the incandescent writing of Nelly Arcan and the director Manon Worms.

Part cabaret, part stand-up comedy, and part queer performance, the show immerses us in a fictional cave, between shadows and lights, a metaphor for the intimate depths of femininity.

Based on the searing texts of the Quebec author, who passed away in 2009, Arcanes explores with emotional intensity the injunctions imposed on female bodies, between shame and desire, identity and image. Guided by an immersive sound and visual creation, the audience is invited to embark on an inner journey, punctuated by excerpts from Nelly Arcan's work and traversed by mythical figures, ranging from Medusa to Loana. A final celebration highlights the power of life and struggle that resides within each of us. A theatrical experience with cathartic effects, blending humor and fear, horror and beauty!
