Presentation

A two-voice urban tour in partnership with the Art, History, Archaeology, and Archives Department.
In 1982, Ernest Pignon-Ernest made his mark on Martigues with a series of wheat-paste artworks scattered throughout the city. Integrated into the daily lives of the residents, his works engage in a dialogue with the local landscape. This dual-perspective tour invites you to journey between past and present, following in the artist’s footsteps across the Martigues of the 1980s.
