Welcomed in residence at Les Salins, Après moi, le déluge unfolds a spectacular choreographic writing, faithful to the demands and intensity of (LA)HORDE.
The collective has once again created a piece where movement brings forth bodies in tension, imbued with the narratives and imaginaries of our time.
The piece is born in a pivotal moment when the world seems to be losing its footing. Under the weight of crises and collective exhaustion, the bodies of thirteen performers falter, fall, and disintegrate before anything even begins. Against the flow of time, the piece attempts an impossible return to the past, as if to anticipate the catastrophe, to halt the erosion. To convey this vision, Marine Brutti, Jonathan Debrouwer, and Arthur Harel have deployed a large-scale scenography. The stage is transformed, immersing the audience in an extraordinary experience. From this journey emerges a shared energy, a new way of being together, and the possibility of shared joy.
