Presentation

Are you looking for fresh fish? Meet at the port of Carro.
This small fishing village has kept its soul of yesteryear. Its picturesque port is pure happiness conducive to strolling, a unique and particular atmosphere with the odors of iodines.
Wolves, tuna, sea bream, marbled, red mullet, turbos, fish for bouillabaisse ...
Direct sale from fishermen when the trawlers return (if the weather is favorable for sea trips).
10 to 15 stalls depending on the season and the weather.

When the sun sticks its head out of the water far on the horizon, on the stones of the port, the wives, mothers or daughters of fishermen pour crushed ice into the display boxes, and display sea bream, sars and other fish.
They are already installed when their husbands, fathers or sons of sailors moor their boats at the quayside and release their tide from their nets.
Opening period (s)All year round, daily between 8.30 am and 12 pm.
